But it started before that. Raised by a widowed mother, Al Mansell learned how to work hard and treat people right. For many years Al painted houses to support his family, then one day he decided to sell them instead. So the “Trusted Name in Real Estate began”. Over the next 25 years Mansell & Associates became the largest independent Real Estate Company in Utah with offices throughout the state.
Mansell & Associates started with a single small office in 1975. By 2001 the company had grown to more than 600 residential sales agents in 12 offices. In 2001 the company was sold to NRT Inc.
Darren Mansell began selling real estate full time while in college studying Political Science and playing tennis for Brigham Young University and The University of Utah. Since beginning his career in real estate he has consistently been one of the top producing Realtors around the state. In fact, in 2005 Mansell was honored as Coldwell Bankers #1 agent world wide in number of homes listed and sold. Treating clients “the way they want to be treated” has always been a theme with Mansell.
In 2011 Darren decided to begin again the tradition of a full service Real Estate company dedicated to offering the customer “a local touch with a national reach”. Thus Mansell Real Estate was born.
